Stuck by a devastating earthquake last Tuesday, Haiti is struggling to cope with the consequences. The magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck 10 miles from the capital, Port-au-Prince and was followed by two large after shocks soon after. The death toll is unknown but estimates range from 50,000 up to 200,000. The earthquake crippled the emergency services so rescue operations have been severely affected. International aid has poured into the country in the last week to boost rescue operations.
Many thousands of people are without shelter, water and safe sanitation. A donation can help aid organisations provide essential front line services to the people in need. SMZ Design is supporting Oxfam.
